Kambi & PENN Reach An Agreement

Kambi Group and PENN Entertainment have just announced that they will begin transitioning from the former sportsbook technology to PENN’s new standalone system. Kambi will receive $12.5 million for early termination while also receiving $15 million for their services in PENN’s transition. The new sportsbook technology is expected to complete its rollout by 2024 with PENN planning to start migration in Q3 of 2023. A quote from PENN’s CEO states, “Kambi has been a topflight supplier to PENN in out digital evolution. Kambi’s well-proven, high-quality technology and services have empowered PENN as we pursued our differentiated sports betting strategy, and I’m pleased to have secured our partnership to ensure a seamless transition for both companies.”

OddMatrix Sports Product Breaks €1B Turnover

EveryMatrix has recently announced that their sports product, OddsMatrix, has broken a company record with a €1 billion 2022 turnover. This achievement comes after they closely fell short in 2021. A quote from the CEO of EveryMatrix states, “Another stunning accomplishment for OddsMatrix and EveryMatrix as a whole. We’ll likely be hitting €200m turnover per month in Q4 2022. And the fast growth of volumes can be turned into even more feature investment, positively reinforcing the volume growth.”

DraftKings Shares Jump After Report Of Potential Partnership

The stock price of the popular sportsbook DraftKings (DKNG) has recently shot up 5% as a new report shows they’re in contact with ESPN to potentially create an exclusive partnership. The report comes after Disney’s CEO Bob Chapek stated that ESPN was looking for a partner to enter the U.S. sports betting world. DraftKings continued saying they have a long relationship with ESPN bu there’re many other companies the speak too.
