Fanatics CEO Sells Stake In 76ers and Devils To Focus On Sports Betting
The CEO of Fanatics, Michael Rubin, has announced he will be selling his stake in Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment. The selloff will cut Rubin’s ties as Harris Blitzer owns the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils. The change comes as league ownership rules don’t allow owners to be affiliated with a gambling platform. Rubin getting out will allow him to fully invest his time into pushing Fanatics deeper into sports betting and iGaming.
