Louisiana gets $2.1 million in taxes from February sports betting

Approximately 211 million sports bets were placed on mobile betting apps in Louisiana in February.
The seven sports wagering apps authorized in the state took in roughly $16.7 million during the month, with more than $9.8 million from football wagers. $2.1 million in taxes was raised for the state. Barstool Sportsbook, BetMGM, BetRivers, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings and FanDuel are some of the active sportsbooks in Louisiana.
