Ohio Launches Online & Retail Sportsbooks

It’s a good time to be a sports bettor in Ohio since as of January 1, 2023, 16 digital and 13 retail sportsbooks have gone live and started accepting bets. Of the 16 launches many well known operators are joining the Buckeye State, i.e. Barstool, Caesars, BetMGM, and FanDuel. The new mobile and retail products will offer bettors access to many different sports betting markets including, cross-sport parlays, prop bets, in-game bets, straight bets, daily odd boosts, and many promotional offers for first time bettors. Penn Entertainments, Barstool Sportsbook has already launched in Penn’s four Ohio properties, Hollywood Casino Columbus, Hollywood Casino Toledo, Hollywood Gaming at Mahoing Valley Racecourse, and Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway, marking the 15th state Barstool Sportsbook has launched in. Ohio is home to many passionate sports fans having six professional sports teams in the state: Cleveland Browns (NFL), Cincinnati Bengals (NFL), Cleveland Guardians (MLB), Cincinnati Reds (MLB), Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), and Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL).
