Ontario sports betting market has a busy first month

Toronto’s sports betting market opened up fully in Ontario on April 4th and since the launch their are now 13 operators and 21 sites live in the province. The market has started somewhat slow however it is anticipated that betting will ramp up here shortly. Some of the more popular operators such as DraftKings have not yet been licensed in Toronto. But we are expecting them to jump into the market soon with promos and offers. For now it is likely that PointsBet and FanDuel will lead the sports betting effort in the Toronto.
