PointsBet sign sports betting deal with Toronto Raptors and Leaf’s

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment has struck a multi-year sports betting deal with PointsBet Canada. The deal was announced 4/11/2022 Monday and is the latest partnership between professional sports team and a private sportsbook. The deal between MLSE and PointsBet comes right after several high-profile partnerships involving sportsbooks and pro teams.

Some of those high-profile partnerships are, The Toronto Blue Jays have also struck a partnership with Score Media and Gaming. As well as the National Hockey League announcing a partnership with BetMGM and FanDuel. The provinces online gambling market is expected to generate $989 million in gross revenue in its first year, hitting $1.86 billion by 2026.
