Wagr launching new social sports betting app
Wagr allows fans to bet against other betters rather than the house. Wagr is the first social betting platform to be licensed in the U.S. Wagr is also the ninth licensed operator to launch in Tennessee. Unlike other sportsbooks Wagr charges a flat 5% transaction fee. The company has raised $12 million and they hope to use those funds to accelerate development.
