New York’s online sports betting market is performing well and has exceeded expectations for the year 2023. The handle for the first three months of the year is over $5 billion, which is $206.3 million ahead of last year’s pace. The state has also generated over $50 million more in tax revenue than in the same period last year. FanDuel Sportsbook NY has broken industry records for the highest betting total in a single month, while DraftKings Sportsbook NY posted the second-highest total. DC Lottery’s GamBetDC Sees Increase in Sports Betting Handle in March

The DC Lottery’s sports betting platform, GamBetDC, saw an increase in sports betting handle from $5.7 million in February to $6.5 million in March, resulting in over $860,000 in gaming revenue for the month. This is also an improvement from the $6.2 million generated in March 2022. The Men’s and Women’s NCAA Tournaments played a significant role in this increase. Year-to-date, GamBetDC has generated over $41 million in handle off of 1,310,382 bets, resulting in roughly $4.8 million in revenue. However, compared to FY 2022, GamBetDC has taken one step forward and two steps back, with a decrease in amount played and amount won.
