Light & Wonder Posts Positive Q3 Growth

The gambling product and service company, Light & Wonder, have just revealed their Q3 report showing positive growth of 20% from 2021. The company reported revenue of $648 million for Q3 with the help of SciPlay which hit a new quarterly record. ABITDA also grew 16% from 2021 to $235 million as Light & Wonder continue their expansion into the gaming sector. Wynn Resorts Reveals Q3 Revenue, Vegas and Boston Harbor Up

Wynn Resorts just unveiled their Q3 report showing $899.7 million in revenue. This is an 11% decline from 2021 but it should be noted that Macau’s closure has hurt all operators over the past two years due to Covid but as they begin opening, Macau casinos have seen good traffic. A quote from Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings states, “Our teams at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor delivered a new third-quarter record for adjusted property EBITDA at our combined North American properties.”

Fanatics Hires New CFO Ahead Of January Launch

Ahead of the launch of their sports-gambling division in January 2023, Fanatics has announced that they’ve brought on Andrea Ellis to be the chief financial officer over their sports betting and gaming sectors. Ellis will bring her expertise in technology and operations to Fanatics and plans to provide strategic and operational leadership, according to Fanatics. Fanatics is valued at around $27 billion as a sports platform but come 2023, the company looks to branch out and add a fully fleshed out sports betting sector. The market is rather crowded though so Fanatics will have to make some great strides to push their product into the light.
