Fanatics has acquired PointsBet’s US business for $150 million, while Aristocrat has purchased NeoGames for $1.2 billion. Fanatics’ deal involves acquiring the US arm of PointsBet, while the Australian and Canadian divisions, as well as the proprietary platform, will remain with PointsBet. The acquisition gives Fanatics access to 15 states and ownership of Banach, a live odds provider acquired by PointsBet in April 2021. Aristocrat’s deal involves acquiring NeoGames, an iLottery-to-iGaming company, for $1.2 billion in cash. The transaction is recommended by the board and is expected to close within 12 months.
