Houston Mogul Receives Approval To Build Las Vegas Strip Casino
The Houston billionaire, Tillman Fertitta, has just been given approval from Clark County commissioners to develop a new hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Fertitta has been the owner of the Golden Nugget which recently sold its online gaming branch to DraftKings for $1.56 billion. The deal led to Fertitta becoming an active member on DraftKings board as well as one of their largest shareholders. The proposed casino would be a 43-story high-rise with over 2,400 rooms located on the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Ave. The project is expected to be completed in two years.
