Georgia sports betting legislative session ends

Georgia’s House of Representatives failed to vote on either sports betting bill this year. Georgia bettors knew the chances where slim that the sports betting bills would pass, and as expected legislative time ran out. Georgia’s congress had little time to debate the two upgraded bills for sports betting. The legislation would have established 20% tax rate plus $100,000 application fee with a $1 million dollar license fee. The next chance that the bill will have will be in 2023.
