Kansas Sports Betting Launch Aiming for NFL Season

Kansas sports betting bill has recently passed both houses of the legislature, and it is expected that Gov. Laura Kelly will add her signature to make Kansas the 34th state with legal sports betting. The Senate in a very late session finally approved the measure in a 21-13 vote.

Timing of the states sports betting launch is still unclear but it appears they will have enough time to get sports betting live before kickoff of the 2022 NFL season. Kansas is the latest state to either legalize sports betting or expand access to legal wagering in a flurry of decisions by state governments.
