In just the first month since sports betting launched in Kansas, the state has reported a sports betting handle $160 million for September. Of the sports betting operators, DraftKings was the most used pulling $74.2 million, FanDuel followed in second with $35 million, and BetMGM took third with $27.9 million. Barstool Sportsbook, Caesars, and PointsBet all trailed after with $10.7m, $6m, and $1.3m respectively. This is a very solid opening when compared to Arizona’s first month of $486 million as Kansas’ market is only 17% the size of Arizona’s.
