Kentucky House committee Unanimously approves sports betting
The house bill 606, unanimously passed the permit which will allow for sports betting on mobile devices in the state. The bill seeks to legalize most forms of sports betting in the state and regulates taxes on all online gambling.
Supporters of the bill estimate it will generate $22 million in yearly revenue for the state. Also in the bill, “grey-machines” have been banned, the machines would give out cash prizes to successful players, these machines where located in convivence stores across the state. The bill still awaits approval from the full house and the senate.
