Nevada sportsbooks set a record handle with Rams win
Nevada’s Gaming Control Board stated Monday that nearly $180 million was wagered on the super bowl Sunday. The $180 million wagered sets a new state record and beats the last record set four years ago when Nevada was the only option for legal sports betting.
Bettors of the super bowl made out well, Cincinnati covered the spread of -4.5. The 46-point total was also 2.5 points lower than anticipated. We are still waiting for more states to release their handles for the super bowl, but we can only assume record breaking numbers.
